| 100 statues of longevity were shown in the bamboo forest temple. These 100 statues of longevity were wood carvings made by one hundred years old trees. The annual rings show the intact and evident intension of the long lived people. We called them as "Nanshan Baishou Garden". In the garden, there is one giant statue of longevity,4 meter high and 1.2 meter in diameter. The image is healthy in old age and makes a bow with hands folded in front to wish people have healthy and longevity. |
